Welcome

Welcome to Northwest Florida Outdoor Adventure where we’re dedicated to helping you discover some of the best kept secrets of the Emerald Coast. Our area has some of the best beaches in the world with sugar-white sand composed almost entirely of Appalachian quartz crystal and, true to its namesake, beautiful emerald green waters.

And while our beaches offer a variety of activities ranging from snorkeling, salt water fishing, surfing, SUPing, swimming, jet skiing, sailing, and MORE, our inland areas have just as much to offer in the way of hiking, fresh water fishing, camping, kayaking, canoeing, tubing and cycling. In fact, there’s so much to do in Northwest Florida that you may just have to move here in order to do it all. :)

So if you’re new to the Emerald Coast and not sure where to start, spend a few minutes exploring our site and discover what the Florida panhandle has to offer. Just don’t forget the sunscreen before heading out.

  5. Beverly, this is BEAUTIFUL! I am so thrilled you finally got it up! Let me know if I can do anything to help. I’ll be moving to Gainesville on May 1, so we’ll be closer. I’m going to try to plan a trip to the nature coast sometime this summer. Hopefully, we can go somewhere together, since you know all the best spots.

Where was the heading picture taken? The woman in the kayak in the beautiful blue clear water.

  8. Beverly Hill says:

Austin, that was taken at Cypress Springs on Holmes Creek. It’s located northeast of Panama City. Oh, and the woman in the kayak is me. :)

Is the Timberlake Bike Trail Recreation Area the only bike trails on Eglin Reservation? I see it is next door to where I lived in FWB quite a few years back.

    • Beverly Hill says:

Yes, it is located on the Eglin Reservation just a few miles up the road from the Fairgrounds and new courthouse.
